- UX (User Experience) is like the overall vibe and flow of your restaurant. You consider things like:
- How easy is it to get a table?
- Is the menu clear and organised?
- Is the waitstaff friendly and attentive?
- Is the lighting comfortable?
- Does the atmosphere feel relaxing or energetic, depending on what kind of experience you want to create?
- UI (User Interface) is the visual look and feel of the restaurant. This includes things like:
- The interior design and decor
- The type of furniture
- The layout of the tables and chairs
- The menus (including the fonts, colours, and pictures)
In short:
- UX is about how the experience works. Is it smooth, efficient, and enjoyable?
- UI is about how it looks. Is it attractive, clear, and engaging?
They both work together to create a great restaurant (or website, app, etc.). You need a well-designed kitchen and friendly staff (UX) to serve delicious food, but you also need a comfortable and inviting space (UI) for people to enjoy it in.
