Our Work
A home catalogue buyers can explore on their own
Stylemaster Homes is one of South East Queensland's most awarded new home builders, with more than two decades of experience building single storey, double storey and acreage homes. Their range is large and detailed, and they needed a website that lets buyers explore all of it themselves and arrive at a design that suits their block, their family and their budget.

The ask
Make a complex range simple to explore
Every Stylemaster design comes in a range of sizes. Every size has its own floor plan options. Every plan can be paired with a set of facades matched to the lot width it suits. Buyers needed to move through all of that without getting lost, narrowing the range by what actually matters to them. Stylemaster's team also needed to keep the whole catalogue current as designs, prices and promotions change.

Working from designs by our creative partner Allo Creative, we built the site on Payload CMS with a Next.js front end. The core of the build is the home design engine. This is a structured content model that links each design series to its sizes, each size to its floor plan variations, and each plan to the facades available for its lot width. On top of that model sits a search that filters the full range by house type, bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, car spaces, lot width, collection, price and name. Each design page updates its dimensions as a buyer switches plan options. Buyers can also flick through every available facade, save designs to a favourites list, and request their chosen design and facade as a quote.
Around the engine, we built the rest of the site: display homes, virtual tours and video, house and land, knockdown rebuild, custom homes, promotions and inclusions. Stylemaster's team manages all of it through a single editing experience. This project was a labour of love. Our co-founder and technical lead Chris Nowlan led development from the first data model through to launch, and the home design engine is his work.
Buyers can now go from "what fits my block?" to a specific design, size and facade in one visit. When they arrive at a display home or speak to a consultant, the conversation starts from something concrete.
For Stylemaster, the catalogue is now a structured system rather than a set of pages. New designs, facades and price changes are made in one place and appear everywhere they should, without needing a developer.
