Platform maintenance & evolution. Proactive care for your digital platform

A website isn't a project that ends at launch. It's a living system that needs ongoing attention security patches, performance monitoring, content management, and the kind of incremental improvements that keep it relevant and effective over time.

We provide proactive maintenance that prevents problems before they happen and a continuous improvement approach that evolves your platform alongside your business. Based in Brisbane, we keep Australian businesses' platforms healthy, secure, and performing well.

What's included

What maintenance covers

Proactive maintenance covers the work that keeps your platform secure, fast, and stable the things that should happen regularly whether or not anything's visibly broken.

01Security updates & patching

CMS updates, dependency patches, and security fixes applied regularly and tested before going live. We don't wait for something to break. We prevent it.

02Performance monitoring

We monitor your site's speed, uptime, and Core Web Vitals on an ongoing basis. If performance degrades, we catch it early not when a customer complains or your rankings drop.

03Backups & recovery

Regular automated backups with tested recovery processes. If the worst happens, we restore quickly and completely.

04Platform health checks

Periodic reviews of your site's technical health checking for broken links, outdated dependencies, accessibility issues, security vulnerabilities, and anything that's drifted since launch

05Dependency & compatibility management

The libraries, frameworks, and services your platform depends on change constantly. We keep your dependencies current, test compatibility, and manage upgrades before they become urgent or risky.

We respond same-day and resolve most issues within 48 hours

Evolution

Beyond maintenance. Platform evolution

Maintenance keeps things working. Evolution makes them better.

01Continuous improvement

Your business changes. Your customers' expectations change. Your platform should change too. We use maintenance hours to make incremental improvements refining user flows, improving content structures, optimising performance, and implementing small enhancements that compound over time.

02Data-informed decisions

We review your site's analytics and performance data to identify where improvements will have the most impact. Not guessing, measuring.

03Technology upgrades

Frameworks release new versions. Best practices evolve. We keep your platform current with the technology landscape, applying meaningful upgrades that improve performance, security, or capability.

04Roadmap alignment

For clients on larger retainers, we maintain a lightweight platform roadmap, tracking what's been improved, what's planned, and what's worth considering. This turns maintenance from a cost into an investment.

How it works

How it works

01Monthly retainer

A set number of hours each month typically 8–12 hours for proactive maintenance. Hours cover security updates, monitoring, health checks, and continuous improvement work.

02Proactive, not reactive

We don't wait for you to report problems. We monitor, audit, and improve on a regular cycle. You hear from us when something's been improved not just when something's broken.

03Monthly reporting

Clear reports covering what was updated, what was monitored, what was improved, and any recommendations for the month ahead.

04No lock-in

Month-to-month agreements. We keep clients because the platform gets better every month, not because of a contract.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

No. We take on maintenance for platforms built by others. We'll assess the codebase first to understand its condition and advise honestly on what's needed.

8 hours per month is our recommended minimum for meaningful proactive maintenance. Below that, ongoing support is usually a better fit.

Small enhancements, yes, and we encourage it. Larger features are better scoped as a separate project so they get the attention they need.

We prioritise based on impact, security first, then performance, then usability, then enhancements. We'll always discuss priorities with you before making changes.
